New Delhi – The International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry (ICMEI) joined forces with the PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS), under the Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution, Government of India, to host a momentous seminar focusing on “Standards in Media and Entertainment” at the prestigious Bureau of Indian Standards Head Office in New Delhi on Thursday, 27th July.
The seminar aimed to address the paramount significance of standardized practices within the diverse realms of the Indian Media and Entertainment Industry. Distinguished personalities and leaders from various segments of the industry including print media, radio, television, new media, events, music, and media education participated, underscoring the necessity to establish and adhere to comprehensive standards in the fast-evolving landscape of media and entertainment.
ICMEI, PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and BIS remain committed to furthering the cause of standardization in the Media and Entertainment Industry, fostering growth, and propelling India towards becoming a global leader in the creative domain. Sanjay Pant Deputy Director General BIS, Shivam Soni Member Secretary, Shalini sharma additional Secretary General PHDCCI were also present there.
