New Feature Hashtags in Ads Post Rolled Out

We are glad to add new feature in QuickFinds Classified Ads Website. Every time we are thinking to add new features that can grow user ads views.

We introduce Hashtags as new feature in our website.

User can access this feature when adding new ad post in QuickFinds. We hope QuickFinds user like this feature most specially who use QuickFinds website for posting ads.

What is Hashtag?

A hashtag is a metadata tag that is prefaced by the hash symbol, #. Hashtags are widely used on micro blogging and content by user-generated tagging that enables cross-referencing of content sharing a subject or theme.

For example, a search within quickfinds for the hashtag #realestate returns all posts that have been tagged with that hashtag. After the initial hash symbol, a hashtag may include letters, digits, and underscores.

How to use hashtags?

A hashtag feature is new way adding tags in description and is used to index keywords or topics on QuickFinds. This function was created on QuickFinds, and allows people to easily follow topics they are interested in.

User can included Hashtags (#) anywhere in new Ad Post.

Hashtags Limits

Current we allow only 5 Hashtags (#) in ad post description. If you user add more than 5 hastags in ad post then other hashtags will be ignored and no meaning of those hashtags.

Using hashtags feature people can find more related topics on QuickFinds.

People use the hashtag symbol (#) before a relevant keyword or phrase in their Classified Ad to categorize those ads and help them show more easily in QuickFinds search.

Hashtagged words that become very popular are often trending topics.

Clicking or tapping on a hashtagged word in any ads description shows you other ads that include that hashtag.
