It is a great honor to be entrusted by Mayor Roy Ga with the responsibility of leading the Sangguniang Panlungsod (SP) in pursuit of his administration’s top priority—restoring peace and order while eradicating illegal drugs in Iligan City. Mayor Ga recognizes the urgent need to strengthen our fight against crime, illegal substances, and other security threats to ensure a safer city for all Iliganons. This mandate is not just a challenge but a reflection of his confidence in my ability to help bring about positive change in our beloved city.
As the Presiding Officer of the Sangguniang Panlungsod, I will ensure that the necessary ordinances and resolutions to reinforce our city’s security measures will be given top priority in the legislative body. This is not just a personal commitment but a call to action for all councilors and government agencies to unite in making this vision a reality. We will conduct consultations, studies, and meetings with law enforcement agencies to ensure that our policies effectively address criminal activities and contribute to the improvement of our peace and order programs.
