MSSO Chairman and He has been elected twice as MLA and the first time being from Ramayampet constituency in 2008 and the second being from Medak in 2009. In 2014, he contested for the Lok Sabha seat from the Malkajgiri constituency and secured second place in the voting bank. He was elected as the MLC unanimously in 2017 and served up to 2018 from the MLA quota.
Since being elected as the MLA of Malkajgiri, he took up many development initiatives in his constituency like instructing GHMC officials to clean Safilguda lake and spraying chemicals to control mosquito breeding
Initiated Praja Darbaar programme to listen to people’s problems and wade off corruption and bureaucratic hurdles faced by the public.
